How do you handle my audio data?

OffBook captures user-authorized audio in your browser, streams it encrypted for real-time transcription and coaching, and does not keep a replayable audio file in your account by default. Transcripts and debrief artifacts are stored for product functionality. Customers may also call this audio privacy, call data handling, audio processing.

OffBook processes live audio in your browser for real-time transcription and coaching. It does not save a replayable audio recording in your account by default, but it does store the transcript and coaching outputs. Where is call data processed and how long is it retained?

Call audio is processed in flight; transcripts and debrief artifacts are stored in OffBook until you delete them or your account. Subprocessors process data per their policies — see the security page. Customers may also call this data retention, data residency, where data is processed.

Do you use my calls to train models, and can I opt out?

OffBook does not train models on your customer audio or transcripts by default. Anthropic API usage is inference-only; customer content is not used to train Anthropic models by default. Customers may also call this model training data, train on my calls, training opt-out.

How should I disclose AI assistant usage on calls?

Use a clear, direct disclosure at the start of the call and obtain any required consent before continuing. Customers may also call this AI disclosure, consent script, tell participants.

What is your security posture?

OffBook uses encrypted transport, user-initiated browser capture, access controls, and subprocessors listed on the security page. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
